Patrick's Mother, Founder

Lisette Rimer, P '97, '01, '01

Lisette started Pat's award 20 years ago. She received an MA and BA at the University of Connecticut. he was a publicist for the Connecticut legislature and an award-winning English teacher at Rectory School in Pomfret, Connecticut. Her memoir about Patrick, Back From Suicide, is available on Amazon.

 

An avid equestrian, Lisette co-founded the Pomfret Hunter Pace, the Pomfret Horse & Trail Association, and is very involved in local land conservation.

Patrick's Twin Sister, Head of Design & Marking

Libby Wood, LMFT, Phd Student, '01

Libby a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist specializing in depression, suicidality, grief, and anxiety and is licensed in California and Connecticut. She received a certificate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis at Stanford University. She is now a third year PhD student at CIIS working on her dissertation.

She is an active surfer, trail runner, tennis player, and skier and lives with her partner on a farm in Northern California.

Patrick's Older Brother

Colin Wood, '97

Colin Wood is a seasoned sales executive, entrepreneur, and AI consultant with over two decades of experience driving revenue growth across retail, consumer goods, and financial services. He is a founding partner at Telisina, a boutique data analytics and AI consulting firm, and serves as Senior Vice President of Retail Sales at Brandstak AI, where he leads new business development for US-based retailers and consumer brands.

 

A recognized thought leader in B2B sales and go-to-market strategy, Colin contributes regularly to business growth and GTM podcasts and was selected as a 2026 honoree in Top 100 Innovators and Entrepreneurs Magazine. He holds a degree in Finance from the University of Washington.

 

Colin serves on the Board of Trustees for the Patrick Wood '01 Memorial Prize in honor of his younger brother, Pat. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time on the water, golfing, and traveling with his family. He resides in Londonderry, New Hampshire with his wife Jen, their daughters Addison and Raegan, and their chocolate Labrador, Tucker.

Patrick's Late Father

Robert P. Wood, P '97, '01, '01

Robert obtained a master’s in education from Eastern Connecticut State University and had a long career as Assistant Director of Case Management at the Dempsey Center. His strong sense of community included service in the Pomfret Lions Club, the Pomfret Library, and the Pomfret Fire Department. History, Irish lore, tradition, and preservation drove Bob’s passion for antiquity and the monuments of those who went before us.
